Switching Platforms

Hello blog, it’s been a while!

2020 has been quite a year, a year we didn’t expect. I’ve been contemplating what to do with this “space” I’ve been writing on since 2013. I blogged about all my travels in 2017 and 2018 when I decided to pursue photography full time and it’s been a fun adventure.

My latest endeavor is vlogging, which really is just a long form video version of “blogging”. Honestly I think blogs are somewhat of a dead format in 2020, mainly for photography but I think in today’s world YouTube is where its at. The photo industry as a whole has changed quit a bit since I started in 2011. Website are still a must but putting the person behind the camera in front of it for the audience to connect with the photographer seems to be the new norm.

So yes YouTube will be my new project as I’m still traveling quite a bit and with the release of the A7SIII it’s a no brainer to jump on the platform. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and I’m just going for it, its a new fun challenge!

If you’ve been following the blog over the years I’d like to give a big thanks for the support!!

If you’d like to continue following my journey please subscribe to my YouTube channel and follow me on Instagram as I’ll be posting to both every week.

It’s been fun blogging but this is most likely my last post.

Thanks for reading and hopefully I’ll see you on either platform 🙂
